Assassin's Creed III PC Shipment Stolen

Assassin's Creed III PC Shipment Stolen

Every single copy.

Entertainment Business is reporting that the truck shipping the PC copies of Assassin's Creed III for Netherlands, Belgium and Luxmebourg has been stolen. And it wasn't just a single batch of shipment, it was the entire shipment for all the three countries involved.

Only if we had Connor to save the day.
Thankfully, those looking to buy the game will still find it on shelves. Ubisoft said that it will be sourcing new stock from elsewhere, however players who pre-ordered the limited 'Join or Die' edition of the game will be affected as this cannot be re-manufactured. Ubisoft hasn't said what sort of compensation it will be offering to those players.
For now, Ubisoft has blacklisted the serial numbers of the stolen games, rendering them completely useless for online play.
